Knutsford Beer Festival - 2016

70 different beers and so much more

The 2016 Knutsford Beer Festival launched last night with a VIP evening for sponsors, brewers, and special guests.

The annual event is showcasing over 70 different beers, as well as a range of ciders, and a selection of wines and Proseccos courtesy of Corks Out in Knutsford.

The VIP Sponsor evening included live music from local artists “Two Nuts on a Bridge”, who entertained the crowd with their acoustic performance. Also on offer was hot food from local providers such as Pizza Maker, Back Deli, Hot Stuff, In The Dog House, Somtam Thai Cuisine, and Spicy Jack Deli.

“We couldn’t run the event without the support of our generous sponsors, and local breweries,” said Andrew Malloy, Chairman of the Festival Committee. “The Sponsors’ evening is a great way for us to thank them in person, and give them a sneak preview of the main event.”

Knutsford Beer Festival was open to the public on the evening of Friday 7th October, with an afternoon and evening session on the following day, Saturday 8th October. A total of 500 tickets per session are on sale, more than any other year. The Festival is being held in a new venue, Egerton Youth Club, and a shuttle bus is available between the venue and Knutsford Bus Station for a suggested donation of just £1 per trip.

Tickets cost £10 for an evening session, and £6 for the afternoon session, and can be purchased online from the official website at
