Knutsford - are you ready?! Our monthly debut is getting closer and, as always, we are set to impress!

The legendary Knutsford Makers Market is back on Sunday 2nd October 2016.

People flock from far and wide to mooch around the stalls and sample the delights from our awesome artisan traders.

Get ready to be blown away with more than 150 spectacular artisan stalls that are heading your way for our monthly show stopper on Princess Street, Regent Street and Silk Mill Street.

We are thrilled to be showcasing delightful and inspiring artisans, ranging from food and drink to art, craft and vintage.

The Knutsford Makers Market is now Cheshire’s largest local producers’ market of its type and a fantastic showcase for Cheshire’s produce - whether it’s seasonal items, culinary tidbits or traditional cuisine, this event brings all of it together in a colourful array.

The food vibe is strong at this event and tummies will be rumbling on arrival. So, check out the fodder which is second to none at the Knutsford Makers Market.

You won't be leaving empty handed, with award winning pies from a great selection of producers including: Great North Pie, Cumbrian, Thai Fusions and Pie Love.

Also on offer: award winning cheeses, include quirky, retro sweet-flavoured Parma Violet from Cheshire Cheese, homemade artisan breads from The French Corner, door stop-sized brownies from Ian Treats and delicately crafted petit fours from Tinakiiani.

There’s more as well: locally-sourced meat from Ken Webb, homemade jams and chutneys from Berry Fresh Baker which will blow your socks off, roasted coffee beans from Second City and wonderful homemade Granola from Rachel’s Granola.

Check out the beer cakes from Buxton Cake, Mums Macarons’ famous flavours and South African Biltong from Gavin.

A stall ‘must stop shop’ is the Oreo Peanut Bombs from Stuart Thornley and the Peanut Butters from Funky Nut. But be sure to come early as sell outs happen fast!

There will be hot dumplings from Oh Mei Dumpling on Silk Mill Street to grab on the go, awesome ices from Ice Cream Creations and green tea chocolate shavings from In Truffle We Trust.

If going vegan is your thing, check out new kids on the block Nicely Kitchen who will be dishing out Jaffa Cake slices and banana and courgette breads.

Mummy Bakes will also be on hand with gluten free and healthy biscotti.

If you are hungry for visual delights, the art vibe will be strong. This month prepared to be inspired by Cheshire illustrator Sarah Gregory, textile designer Libby Bower and original artworks by Ruth Sarah Design.

There will also be design from Sunflowers in the Sea, children's fairytale images from Mark Bird and iconic photography from Ben Sedman and Craig Barker Original Photo. 

Look out for the controversial artworks from Eric at Statement Art, interior design from Lorna Lucus and the Vietnam prints from Hi Chi Yo.

Another ‘must stop shop’ stall is the ethical taxidermy from Dead Things By Kate and handcrafted craft from The Chicken Shed.

There will be clobber from Cheshire fashion brand The Gentleman's Practice, handmade children's gifts from Posner and Posner, plants from Ox Eye Daisy, warming Blazing Logs from Russel and Wood and handmade tables and craft from Roadodendrons.

Bring your pooches to sample the cheesy beef bones from Ella's Dog Pantry, swing by Sweetpea And Boo for the latest in canine fashion and give Winston the English bulldog a kiss from Bib and Tucker.

Come and be inspired by a whole abundance of handmade crafters who have entered into our Makers Market world.

If you like to play ‘finders keepers’, we have a whole host of vintage traders including furniture and collectables from Vintage For Homes and antiques from Fizzy Vintage.

Check out the quirky and curious findings of Lime Street Trading and have a peek the Fairtrade rag rugs and yogo mats of Raggie Annes.

If you need those cockles warming, Little Espresso will be on hand serving hot brews and for those who like to tinker china cups, ‘clink clink’ style, pull up a seat outside Caketastic's vintage pop up tea caravan which will be on Silk Mill Street.

If you need some thing with a little more kick, grab an artisan gin from our horse trailer and put some spring in your Sunday step - guaranteed to blow away the Sunday hangovers.

The street food arena will be in full swing with the fire pits and BBQs being cranked up.

There will be Malaysian foods from Nasi Lemak, Sri Lankan Curry from Knuckle Butty, Bratwurst pulled pork from Al's BBQ, Mezze and Grill from The Stomping Ground and the best pizzas in town from Wood Fire And Smoke.

Let's Go Mexicana will get those taste buds on fire and you can follow it all up with a sweet pancake from Crepe Chateaux.

There will be live music performances all day from the awesome Loose Change buskers, who over the past few years have raised more than £290,000 for Cancer Research and promise to have you singing along.
