Cheshire favourites to return to Middlewich FAB Festival

FAB Festival is thrilled to welcome back Cheshire born singer-songwriter Megan Dixon Hood, talented Macclesfield born musician.

Cheshire: FAB Festival is thrilled to welcome back Cheshire born singer-songwriter Megan Dixon Hood. Talented Macclesfield born musician, Megan Dixon Hood, has a repertoire including playing at festivals such as Glass Butter Beach, 2000 trees, and Liverpool Sound City. Megan has also supported the recently acclaimed Rag’N’Bone man and has had play time on radio stations such as Radio 2. 

 

In a recent post from Manchester Evening News, Megan Dixon Hood was named fifth in the top artists to watch out for in 2017 and will be a great addition to FAB Festival. Megan will be performing during the FREE Saturday concert on the main festival site, Market Field. Those who love nu-folk, alternative and indie music will not be disappointed by Megan’s performance. With her songs being played up and down the country, it will be amazing to have her back performing live at Middlewich FAB Festival 2017.

 

Singer-songwriter, Megan Dixon Hood commented, “FAB festival is a fun and exciting atmosphere and I loved every moment of last year. Being from Cheshire it means a great deal to me to participate in one of the largest festivals in Cheshire.” Megan continued, “I’m very excited to be welcomed back to FAB Festival this year and look forward to entertaining crowds from all over the region.” 

 

Middlewich Town Mayor, Cllr Pam Ferrall comments, “Middlewich Town Council looks to give back to our community and support local talent. Megan was a crowd favourite last year and we are very excited to welcome her back to FAB Festival this year.” Pam continues, “We also see the return of the floating market where visitors can view the canals and narrowboats with local vendors. The floating market has become intrinsic to Middlewich FAB Festival.”

 

Middlewich FAB Festival is one of the biggest festivals of its kind in the northwest, attracting folks & boats from around the UK for over 25yrs`, that features some of the UK’s top artists, of which many can be watched for FREE. Historically, FAB Festival has attracted approximately 25,000 visitors across the three days. This year, from the 16th June until 18th June, FAB Festival is the place to be in Cheshire this summer for some family fun.
